AngelGate, three sims full of peace and quiet. It’s a wonderful place and there are many areas to explore. It is a place of inspiration and beauty. The teleporter transports you to such great destinations as Dark Moon. Dark Moon has many features that when clicked on show various culture’s mythical traditions. One of the best parts of Dark Moon is the Eagle Tour. When you first teleport into Dark Moon there is a large eagle with a basket, the eagle transports you across the sim showing all the best sites. The ride is peaceful and transports more than one person. AngelGate is the perfect place for any nature lover with it’s vivid colors and peaceful setting.
AngelGate also features a castle, gallery, ballroom and a grotto. The castle is a large structure that has many activities to explore inside, such as the spiral tower or the mediation area. The gallery is an elegant place showing different artworks and mosaics. AngelGate further more has a memorial shrine that allows you to place candles in memory of your lost loved one. The shrine is a magnificent place with many memorial candles surrounding an altar with four pillars around it. The Octagon is a lovely place with interactive discussions with programs on creative expressions. There are many programs dedicated towards creativity such as the piano composers project and creative play where you build structures that represents feelings.
There are ruins and statues and my personal favorite a river, in which you can canoe along the realistic stormy waters. Another great part of AngelGate is the labyrinths; it is a beautiful place, the various stages include Reflection, Stillness and Integration. By touching the stone at the end or entrance of the labyrinth you can leave words, textures or sounds, giving you the opportunity to share your thoughts. AngelGate is a highly spiritual place that doesn't focus on one particular religion but on spiritual peace. AngelGate is a reminder of the great art and culture in Second Life; it is a place of creativity and self-development. A unique place full of artistic expression and spiritual reflection.
